"WE HAVE A DREAM"
We have a dream today…
We dream that instead of a family waking up in a cramped
rental with mold, broken windows and broken appliances they wake up in a
decent home with working appliances.
We have a dream today.
We dream that little brothers and sisters wake up each day
in a nice house in their own bedrooms.
We have a dream today.
We dream that parents can buy a home with payments of no
more than 25% of their income. We have
a dream today.
We dream that there will be row after row of good
affordable housing and that those who want to work hard can have part of
this dream.
We have a dream today.
We dream that parents will no longer have to make the
choice between paying the rent or getting clothing for the children. We
have a dream today.
We dream that giving families an opportunity to have
affordable housing will produce a generation of children who become
better students, parents and citizens.
This is our dream, our hope.
But dreams don’t have to be just dreams. They can
become realities. You see, Payson Area Habitat for Humanity is a
"dream fulfilling" organization not
just a dreamer. However, we need YOU to give of yourself to help a
family achieve its dream of an affordable house. Join us today.
